SURREAL

Pernah nggak kamu nanya, Is God real?
Pernah nggak kepikiran, Is hell and heaven such a thing?
pernah nggak ada pikiran kalo sebenernya dunia ini engga diatur sama Tuhan?
yap. aku juga lagi kepikiran hal itu sekarang.
ceritanya gini, waktu lagi omong-omong sama temen, aku mikir, ada bukti ta kalo surga sama neraka itu nyata?
kan itu cuma katanya, katanya bible, katanya qur'an, katanya wedha, katanya pendeta, katanya pak uztadz.
lagian ya, kalo orang mau masuk surga atau neraka kan harus mati dulu, lha, kan engga ada orang yang udah mati, terus bangkit, terus cerita kalo, eh, ternyata surga itu gininininini..ternyata neraka itu gininininini..
jadi kita kan bisa percaya, bisa tau bener kalo surga dan neraka itu real, bukan surreal.
kalo sekarang kan kita masih ngira-ngira tok.
kayaknya gini, kayaknya gitu, katanya sih..
bukannya aku engga percaya ya, aku aku percaya.
di keyakinanku, aku percaya banget bakal masuk surga (diselametin).
aku juga engga mau masuk neraka.
itu semua gara-gara cerita orang. surga itu lebih baik dari neraka.
tapi sekali lagi, beneran ta? apa buktinya?
ada yang udah ngerasain beneran ta?
tapi coba deh, pikirin sisi positifnya, apa se tujuan dari adanya surga sama neraka?
bayangin coba, kalo misalnya surga sama neraka itu ga ada? hayoo. pasti manusia pada kacau semua. soalnya, perbuatan manusia itu secara engga langsung kan ikut terkontrol dengan adanya surga sama neraka.
orang berbuat baik karena takut masuk neraka dan pengen masuk surga.
orang beribada karena pengen masuk surga tapi engga mau masuk neraka.


tapi kalo aku sih basically, ya selama kita hidup itu, berbuat baik aja, engga ada salahnya juga kan? lagian apa sih untungnya berbuat jahat itu? udah bakal di cap jelek, dijauhin orang, ketambahan bikin ortu kita sedih lagi. yang penting se, kalo katanya mamaku, hidup itu harus balance, jelek sama buruknya.

TRIALS

beberapa hari yang lalu saya kan pernah janji bakal ngepost artikel-artikel yang isinya review film, buku, atau apapun yang baru saya baca.
tapi kayaknya saya bakal ngalanggar janji itu deeh.
jadi gini ceritanya, beberapa hari yang lalu, saya baca Twillight Saga:Eclipse, terus begitu selesai, saya mau nyoba-nyoba buat reviewnya. alamak! ternyata buat review itu susah! saya pikir cuma tinggal ketik aja, bagian mana yang bagus, bagian mana yang jelek. ternyata engga sesederhana itu. makanya saya heran sama yang bisa buat review-review. kok bisa ya? padahal susah gitu buatnya. haha
tapi paling engga, saya udah nyoba! masalah itu gagal atau gimana, gampang lah.
buat seterusnyapun, saya bakal nyoba terus buat review!

KIAMAT SUDAH DEKAT

Siang ini saya nyadar kalo yang diomong-omongin  orang itu benar.
Kiamat sudah dekat. Kiamat sudah mau datang.
Kenapa saya bisa seyakin itu?
siang ini, di kelas saya, saya merasa tanda-tandanya sudah semakin dekat.
waktu pelajaran bahasa inggris, saya ngerasa deg-degan.
apalagi waktu jam kedua.
ya Tuhan, bener nggak sih ini tanda-tandanya?
ya Tuhan, saya masih banyak dosa.
ya Tuhan, saya belum siap.
ya Tuhan, saya belum kawin.
lalu semuanya itu menjadi nyata disaat jam sejarah.
guru sejarah masuk.
ternyata inilah kiamat itu.
muahahahahahahaha.
kiamat kecil mungkin. seperti mimpi buruk, tapi engga selesai-selesai.
bu endang, tolong akhiri mimpi buruk kami.

UPDATE FROM ZACKY IN THE STUDIO

Finished tracking drums with MP. They sound fucking amazing. Jimmy will be proud. Jimmy's also smiling knowing that Mike Portnoy has a deathbat forever tattooed on him. To show Mike that A7X is deeper then just a band I got one to match his. Jimmy would have done the same. Mike realized that our fans and friends are considered family. Being an A7X fan isn’t always easy because it means you’re not only gonna laugh with us, but cry with us and defend us on occasion. If you’re part of the family it's for life. Shads dedicated his right hand to our brother, without hesitation. I believe what we all share together is magical and wouldn't have it any other way...Ill try my best to keep you updated from the studio.

PORTNOY
I want our fans to know that with Jimmy in
our hearts, our journey to record has
officially began. Jimmy helped leave this
world an amazing gift and now it's our job
to make sure to deliver that gift to our
fans. We asked Jimmy's all time favorite
drummer Mike Portnoy to record on behalf of
him. Mike said it would be an honor and
without question that ’s what Jim would have
wanted. Its comforting to us that someone
like Mike, who is undoubtedly revered as one
of the best drummers in the world, held such
respect and adoration for the Rev's
abilities. Even though it will never be the
same without our brother by our side, his
essence lives in our hearts and through the
music he helped create. He was a legend
before any of the success or any of that
bullshit and we are fucking excited to lay
this down for our fans, and especially for
Jimmy.

M. SHADOWS TALKS ABOUT THE REV

I don’t know how to start this or know where to begin. First I would like to thank all the fans for their support through the passing of Jimmy. It has been comforting to see his fans, our fans, and everyone in general give their support. Jimmy was my best friend, as he was best friends with many other people including the members of Avenged Sevenfold. He was hands down the greatest person I have ever known. I told him I loved him everyday. He demanded your love and was never afraid to give it back. I have walked side by side with Jimmy, everyday, for the last 18 years of my life. I have no memories before Jimmy, and it’s going to be damn hard to move forward without him here. It still doesn’t seem real. He was my best friend, songwriting partner, band mate, confidant, and most importantly, he was my brother. The crazy thing about Jimmy was that everyday was a crazy story. We have told our favorite Jimmy stories for the last 2 weeks and never have we repeated ourselves. This guy was magical. The out pour of art from his soul was unlike the world has ever seen. Unless you spent a day with Jimmy, or 18 years, it’s impossible to explain, so I’m not going to try. He inspired people in different ways. He wasn’t just a drummer, he honestly didn’t care so much for the technical side of drums, cause he could play anything he wanted. He was all about creating beautiful songs, original fills and hopefully touching people with his art and mind. He told all of us for years, including his parents, that he knew two things in life. He wanted to be a rockstar, and that he wasn’t going to live past 30 years old. He was right on both accounts, but I know Jimmy, and if he knew how much pain this would cause for the ones he left behind, he would have done anything he could to stick around a little longer. Jimmy gave so much and in the end it was his time to go. All my reasons for wanting him to stay are selfish and I know he is in a better place then this, so in a way I’m joyful that my best friend is now at peace. He made it to the other side first and I can’t wait to hang with him again. I have so much to say but can’t find the words so I will wait until time can allow me to find a way to express myself. As for the rest of us, it has become clear what we need to do. We had just finished writing a record with Jimmy. I can’t promise what the future holds because right now it’s too painful to think about, but we know we need to record and put out this record in honor of Jimmy, for Jimmy. He would call me every night to talk about songs and tell me “this shit is gonna change the world.” I agreed with him, unfortunately I didn’t know it would be on these terms. Please be patient with us for we cannot imagine how hard this is gonna be to get through, we just know we have to do it for his legacy. After that, who knows? But I know Jimmy will help us make that decision when the time comes. I love you Jimmy and I feel like the luckiest man in the world to have known you and spent 18 years of my life with you. Rest in Peace my friend.

I met this boy a few days ago when he came to my house. Nopety, nopety, no. he didn’t came to me. Hes one of my mum’s student at university. He came to collect his tasks. You already knew his nickname. Now, get ready, ill tell you the full name: NAIM BEY KHAKI ASMARA. Very bad name. asmara means romance. What did his parents thinking about when they gave his name? I mean, hes a boy. If hes a girl, I think its ok if he had a romance as his name. but in the other hand, im pretty lucky to get his picture. And thanks to my lil brother who ask naim to take picture with him. I always love you, my lil brother.

Next question: do I in love with him?

My answer: nopety, nopety, no. its not that easy to love somebody. Neither do a crush. I already had another chrush, which is im not gonna tell here. But maybe someday I would tell about him .

Ok, the last thing im gonna tell you before I end this stupid thing : I love being me. I can meet any handsome boy, cool boy or stuff without any struggle. My mum’s student, my mum’s softball friends, my dad’s student, my dad’s students friend is handsome enough for me. And I wont become bored, cause its always change everytime. The boys wouldn’t be the same. So, don’t be jealous, girls.

Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother.
